mockd was created to speed up frontend and QA workflows when backend services are unavailable, unstable, or still under active development. It provides a lightweight way to run repeatable API mocks and keep product teams unblocked.

I built it with an emphasis on fast setup, deterministic responses, and team-friendly local usage so developers and testers can reproduce states quickly without adding setup overhead each time.
